52Frames - Week 44 - Rule Of Odds

Palm Desert, CA

This was a tough decision...I had to convince myself that a single subject is an odd number that would qualify for the challenge. I shot several good alternatives but there was no clear consensus from my inquiries.

I chose this one because the whole concept of surfing in the desert creates questions. This image does not answer them all;  rather provides hints to the larger context.

A break in the clouds and in the fence provided the opportunity for some selective color only which qualifies for my personal b/w challenge this year.
