I have been posting to this blog for over 14 years, which continues to be my main photography communication vehicle. Content will be varied and in the spirit of my approach to photography which I describe as “Slice of Life”. 52Frames - Week 44 - Rule Of Odds

Palm Desert, CA

This was a tough decision...I had to convince myself that a single subject is an odd number that would qualify for the challenge. I shot several good alternatives but there was no clear consensus from my inquiries.

I chose this one because the whole concept of surfing in the desert creates questions. This image does not answer them all; rather provides hints to the larger context.
